He earned his bachelor's degree in creative writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and honed his skills through vocational training at Script Anatomy and Upright Citizens Brigade.

Dustin is the co-creator and Game Master of Tales From The Group, a tabletop roleplaying game podcast that follows the adventures of three children who try to uncover the truth about a mysterious machine in their small town.
